Yes it was as adulthood is normally about being more independent and fending for yourself for employment and even having a roof over your head.

Well 16/17 on average is when people start trying to get a job and be independent, even in this mess of a time it is still the case.

I would say theres a huge difference between a young adult and an adult
24 is about the time when you stop having excuses for being bad at life

I didn't read the question properly so put 18! I would say around 21/22. I'm 18 and I certainly don't feel like an adult

I'm 41 and still as immature as I was at 16, sometimes. I know people in their teens that are more mature than me in some situations. There's some on this forum.

I'm 29 in three days (the 11th) and I still don't feel like a proper adult so go figure

Does anyone ever "feel" like an adult though?
Most people seem to be just scrambling and putting on a face of adulthood, but underneath they are a kid not knowing what the fook is going on.
