....hmmmm I’m not sure he is imitating Bear tbh..(..I can’t believe I’m saying this..)...I’ve felt he was doing that from the beginning, which is why I couldn’t take to him....because that would have been not showing any aspect of his own personality but just taking a persona and running with it...after last night though, I’m now thinking he’s emotionally immature and this is genuinely him...maybe Bear is someone he admires or relates to because of his immaturity as well...but Bear’s immaturity isn’t real though, it’s a persona he’s adopted because it’s give him fame etc....

Well put - I really liked Bear, simply because I thought he was funny. And I thought he could handle it being dealt to him - he barely reacted when Aubrey spat in his drink and watched him drink it! (Someone else said Bear could to dish it but wouldnt take it)

Lewis G - is like a two old, its uncomfortable to watch. Theres a lot of fake laughter between him and everyone else which is sad and like someone else posted, he brings out toxic masculinity in himself and Izaac. ..yeah the Stephen Bear referral has really thrown me because there are obviously so many similarities in their behaviour ...but after last night I think the difference is that this isn’t a persona for Lewis G, unlike with Stephen Bear...

I didn't finish Bears season so never actually saw what he did to shake up the forum (which is why I dont hate him and why I dont have this ptsd everyone seems to hage). The only show I can judge bear on is is his firsr ex on the beach appearance and on that he was hilarious and wven one of my faves. Lewis doesn't seem to have the charm and the flair bear had

..I guess he doesn’t have the charm and flair of Stephen because it is actually him rather than an adopted persona, you know...I don’t really know much about Stephen Bear other than his housemate days but so many people said that it’s all put on, you know...

...with Lewis G, that actually makes me soften to him a little..(..please don’t judge me..)...just because he is becoming a real person to me now..a real person who is emotionally immature...it doesn’t change how irritating and annoying he can be etc...but for me, it just makes me understand his behaviour a little more...

I wonder if twunts like Lewis G & Bear etc exist only because of reality shows like BB. Are they just trying to make a living by acting out these cliches on TV & @ personal appearances ? They must need a lot of personal security as people must be queuing up just to give them a smack! Are they "for real bruv "? For the record I think scum like these are actually making a TV living by exaggerating what horrible people they are for effect at the extent of abusing others, it's so disgusting and I really hope Lewis G is the last of these malicious bullies

I agree with you here, Ammi. I don't think he's imitating Bear, but that we are seeing his true character- as you say, someone who is emotionally very immature, a characteristic that was exaggerated under the influence of far too much alcohol.

Again, I am on the same page as you, Ammi. I think we are seeing the real person, and if we met him on a night out he'd be exactly the same.

He comes across to me as if he has lots of underlying insecurities that he is trying to hide under layers of bravado, so in some ways he has adopted a persona, but I think he did this in real life, long before BB.

He seems to me like a 'little boy lost' who is confused about his own identity. He is maybe a product of his upbringing, as other members of the forum have suggested in other threads.

on ex on the beach he was less involved in the drama and would instead be the one at the side stirring the pot. from what I've seen on here he was the centre of all the drama in his cbb run.

I guess thats why I prefer the civilian series so much more. The housemates don't go in with a character that they've perfected so even when they put an act on they still have their moments when the mask slips and they just seem more human. Even with housemates you hate you can appreciate that their actions probably have deeper reasonings behind them that you can't help but empathise with.
