Yeah, Hollywood is a bit of a mess at the moment and no one wants to stick their head above the parapet. They'll either have the internet go over their history with a fine-toothed comb (like Kevin Hart), or they'll be accused of being "part of the Hollywood system" afterwards. I'd assume most people's agents are just saying "it's risky" to anyone who is asked.

The guy is funny as hell sometimes but I didn't even know he was the Oscars host.
![]() Idk what the exact jokes/comments were but I think generally jokes should be taken a lot more lightly than real-life racism/homophobia etc. because jokes are just that, not meant to be taken seriously. If he apologized for this which was nearly a decade ago, I don't see why it should've become a huge issue again. ![]() ![]()
