I’d planned to post at length about this but it’s honestly one of the most upsetting things I’ve ever read.

This is awful..I cannot help but have a gut reaction when reading stuff like this that basically.if this ever happened to any of mine, I would kill the people who did it. Regardless of if they were kids or not. Awful people. Killing them wouldn't bring my child back, but would stop them being able to do it to anyone else. Where a few years in juvie or something just..wouldn't. Ugh, this is not a good start to the day..

well honestly there was a mid-air plane collision, near Germany, and the air traffic controller who had to guide them in Zurich got blamed by one of the victim's relatives, a man from Russia who lost his wife and kids on that one russian plane, he actually out of emotion murdered that air traffic controller peter nielsen at his home

he didn't get a jail sentence since he was mentally broken at the time of that murder, bc of losing his family of course


i think the same should be taken into account when a parent has too much grief for the loss of their child, and should they take revenge at the killer of their child, no jail sentence should come for them but more psychiatric help, talks helping them to overcome their emotions, and becoming better like they were before again

Both boys were found guilty of Murder with one of them also found guilty of sexual assault. Their sentencing hearing is over now, should be announced next Tuesday

...I know that the grandfather of one of the boys has expressed his sorrow to Ana’s parents...I just can’t imagine how difficult that court case would have been for all families involved...may the sentencing bring justice for Ana and her family... ..

Boy A gets life ...to be reviewed in 12 yrs.

So far judge seems to be going easier on Boy B

oh wow, that's good, I was worried he would be much more lenient because of their ages (hopefully he doesn't get let out after 12 years though, the would make him, what? 25?, that seems totally unfair)

Yeah Niamh I think he will be about 26..Judge did mention that Boy b and family did not agree with jury so I think it's more than likely he will appeal.

Had tears in my eyes reading the updates from court ,Poor Anna.

Judge annoyed me when he said ther was nobody to come to Anna aid..Yes there fecking was..Boy B..He's just as guilty in my eyes

Ugh I know, such an horrific ordeal. I just can't imagine how her parents must be feeling, every time they close their eyes they must be thinking about her final hours and how she suffered

Boy A will be on the sex offenders register.

Judge continues order for nothing to identify boys that continues when they are over 18.
These feckers will be out before 30 free to start families .

Yeah, especially Boy A, I just don't know how anyone who acted that sadistically cruel and un empathetic could ever be rehabilitated and why the risk should ever be taken to allow them back into society again putting innocent people in danger. I mean look at what happened with jamie Bulgers killers

Yep.I mean the judge even mentioned how easy they found it to deceive and manipulate...It's highly likely they will find it just as easy when their sentences are up for review.
This wasn't a fight that got out of hand..they spent time planning Anna's murder.
I know what they look like now..but have no idea what they will look like upon release.I know murderers get released all the time ...but there is something particuarlly callous about these two.

...some justice for Ana and her family with the life sentence...I’m not really sure what to think of the second sentence as it could be a release in 8years when it’s reviewed, if I’m understanding it properly...for the horrifically brutal way Ana was killed...doesn’t seem to fully fit justice being done...
