From my experience I feel that it's started off better than 2016 as good things have also happened this year.

2016 weren't bad for Sports imo, but for me personally it was just a grade below 2020 for how awful a year can be.

I've quoted a post from 2020.

2020 is the worst closely followed by 2016.
