Does anyone look at notes that much, I wonder? I mean I worked with bundles of thousands in cash, both Scottish and English notes of all denominations (even the occasional £100 bill which was always a novelty)... for a decade... and I couldn't tell you who was on any of them other than The Queen .

I did enjoy making little stacks of the novelty 50p's on a quiet evening, to be fair.

Except peter rabbit obviously. Paid those out to people I didn't like.
