Different viruses and disease attack in different ways and yes some enter through the eyes skin, by contact and by eating a disease animal or food containing a parasit.

...the way the guy said ‘there I’ve photographed your face, this is going all over social media now...’...or similar words../...gives me a feeling that this was all set up...the fact that he had the body camera all set up in the first place...which apparently he had because ‘they’re Maga/Trump supporters, which tends to bring them regular abuse’.../his words again or similar words...

...they didn’t press charges...they wanted the world to know/the whole of social media to know and see the face of the guy who was the partner of the woman who assaulted them with hot coffee and the guy who was assaulted by one of them because he had a partner who assaulted etc...they were so pleased that the police were called and that they had that body cam all set up and everyone could see the truth now, that coup,e would be exposed to the world...but they didn’t want to press charges...?...it’s all a bit dodgy and none of them looked good...maybe all four of them knew each other, who knows...

Even so, its been well published that mask wearing in the general population is needed to protect others from the wearer. If everyone wore them, that would protect everyone equally

A mask from my point of view is part of ppe and is to protect the person wearing it.

If there is a disease that is air born the person that will be protected from it will be the one wearing the mask not the one without the mask.

It is not airborne. It is spread through cough/sneeze/saliva droplets. The mask is to stop those from being spread around from an infected person, as the droplets are caught in the mask.

It's not a "point of view"... these are the medical facts behind the advice to wear masks .

So why did we have doctors and nurses pleading and begging the government for masks to protect themselves from catching Covid from the patients they were treating.

They were not on the news every day saying we need the masks to protect the patients it was to protect themselves.
They were dying from not having ppe and catching it from the patients

But google says dismiss what medical professionals were saying.

Because they offer some protection to the wearer as part of a full PPE kit - just not as much as having the infected person wear a mask does.

I mean you can even just use simple basic common sense here. If a mask protects the wearer by stopping infected droplets entering their mouth and nose, why WOULDN'T a mask stop those same droplets EXITING the mouth and nose of an infected person?

...honestly...I just started to read a Reddit thread...and I know, her throwing the coffee was awful, regardless of any potential ‘baiting’ or not etc...but the ‘hate’ and nasty comments directed at her are absolutely disgusting...I’m pretty sure that these two guys would be quite aware that, that would happen and I tended it to happen against the couple when they said...’let me photograph your face, you’re going on every social media site...’...they really are quite awful people and that guy seemed less interested in whether his friend was scalded by apparent hot coffee...than he was with the satisfaction of knowing the ‘hate’ this couple would get...

If you did that in the UK you'd be charged with unprovoked assault, though. If you attacked someone who DID throw coffee over you (and had no violent priors) you'd probably get away with a warning because it was provoked/the other person attacked first. Attacking someone who did nothing just because they're WITH the person who attacked you? Not really going to fly as a defense.
