As Marsh as pointed out, the linesman shouldn't be referring to the player by his race.

Well we will have to wait for an investigation, in my view racism wasn’t his intent but I may be proved wrong

Sorry, no, that's ridiculous. Indian, Chinese and black are not offensive words. Let's not make out they're anywhere in the vicinity of the n and p words.

It wasn't appropriate for him to use the player's skin colour as an identifier in the circumstances but that doesn't mean someone being white, black, Chinese or Indian is an offensive descriptor. It's not.

It was simply an example of how far do you let this go.

Also players cheat and lie all through the game, pretend to be tackled, beg refs to send players off, try to injure players when the ref isnt looking and in general do anything they can to gain an advantage. A player was sent off in a crucial game and all of a sudden this happens and we are all supposed to believe everything they say and do?

Lets wait for the facts and context

The players run round with names on the back of their shirt, in big bold writing and a number to identify who is who and yet the official still chose to use that term?

I’m glad the players chose to walk off.
