My shower water doesn't shoot straight down, it's angled, so I have to turn to rinse my hair and back properly

Away mostly (towards to wash hair) but if I had unlimited choice, I love a monsoon shower directly from above. Bliss. Needs very good water pressure though to be worth it.

At the TL's the shower was like a dustbin lid above your head and came straight down but as i recall i still started looking one way and ended looking another

I don’t understand. Everyone faces the shower to begin with when they’re adjusting the temp. It seems like a bit of an effort to turn the shower on, wait for it to be the right temperature whilst the front of your body gets comfortably adjusted to the water to then just turn away. You can’t see the flow of water if your back is away from it and you can’t turn it off/nor adjust the temperature in an instant. You also have more nooks and crannies on the front of your body so it’s helpful to see the flow of water. It’s also less wasteful when you don’t make the water a blind spot.
The math ain’t mathing. ![]() |
