I don't much keep up with royal crap, and dont much care about the monarchy either and never have. But the..way Meghan is talked about is quite concerning to me. She literally cannot do anything right. This interview will be proof of her seeking publicity, meanwhile, if they did not do this interview, it would be 'shunning the public' or 'trying to keep an air of mystery for attention' or something similar. I know women tend to get a bad deal in the press and such, but this is on another level.

She is held to a higher standard than anyone else it seems. The haters who want her to go away are actually the reason why she gets attention because the media jumps on the bandwagon to attack and bully. Bit weird really how someone who hasn't really done nothing bad gets people so wound up and she lives in peoples head rent free.

I think its almost a little sad its come to this for Harry....A prince of the Realm appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show...but each to their own I guess.

Not sure its a good move as when Michael Jackson did his interview with Oprah ,people still believed all the gossip about him ,it didn't matter what HE said I think it just depends on the person on whether you like them or not to start with .Personally ,I don't really care what they do, but have to admit i find it strange they want to do this.

Thats very true....but then it depends how much you choose to believe. Meghan is extremely theatrical in everything she does.

...but you weren’t familiar with her pregnancy pic and that it’s something that people can commonly do now, have that type of more personal pose...and you maybe thought that be an ‘extremely theatrical Meghan, type thing’ if you hadn’t seen anything similar before...but it’s actually just a commonplace thing that would probably not been thought anything of, had it not been Meghan and Harry and how they announced it...

Believe me I am not basing it on the pregnancy picture. Its the way she presents herself in interviews and these podcasts and the Documentry...I read the full context of her fathers letter...the way she told the world about her miscarriage...everything she does comes across as something out of a Barbra Cartland novel...its theatrical and dramatic just like the photo

Given THEIR whining interview with Tom Bradbury on the SA documentary is what turned me off them and others by all accounts, this is a bit of a over simplification of what is going on

I'll be honest, I didn't watch the interview you're talking about, and I probably wont watch this Oprah thing either, barring a few clips that get posted in one of the 364523654326457645276454762576 Meghan threads. If for no other reason than fairness though, shouldn't people want to hear what they have to say when they're already so invested in filling in the blanks for how they live their lives?

I've seen accomplished people from all walks of life give bad interviews, so judging them by that seems a bit shallow.

Its not shallow,because it was followed up

by save the planet Harry...don't fly peasants

then the announcement where they bypassed the Queen and posted their plans on Insta and the whole Sussex Brand thing

then the 'move' to Canada, and another move during first lockdown, if you are for all for the planet that much could you not have moved just the once

and a myriad of other hypocrital things they just keep on doing

There are plenty Royals who manage to live pretty private lives and no one bothers with them because they don't keep popping up preaching what you should do and don't do, if Harry and Megs had done the same, they could disappear as well

On the one hand you are saying watch Oprah so you get it from the horses mouth, on the other you are calling me shallow from watching and making a judgement from the horses mouth on the SA doc, make your mind up?


I know the narrative would be much easier to just call me a racist and be done with it but its not quite that simple

I guess people are naive to think Meghan and Harry will ever got a private life they just want more control and freedom it's not like they are making a real housewives type show and inviting them into their house all year round 24/7. You can want privacy and still do interviews.
