there is still hope for Britain indeed
![]() also i so wish the racists would put their focus onto their own interests, things they like, rather than spreading nasty hate, but as Dezzy said i agree they will never ever change

And I find it hilarious and pathetic that they got themselves into such a tizzy over Diversity's powerful dance , that they complained with foaming mouths . It actually helped Diversity win the BAFTA ![]() |

Depends on age I think, largely. Edgy racist teens/early 20's can (and often do) grow up, but then, that racism comes from a place of being dumb/blinkered/apathy and thinking it's "funny" rather than the properly hateful brand of racism. I think once someone gets into their 30's and beyond holding onto genuinely racist views, yeah it's probably pretty well baked-in at that point and it's rare for people to change in any meaningful way. I'm sure it does happen on occasion, but a lot of work for very little pay-off.

There's probably quite a few people who cringe and feel embarrassed when they think back to the ignorant things they said & did as a youngster , so yeah a few can definitely grow out of it .
But as for older people still behaving that way, they're a lost cause and it's a waste of energy to try and talk to them. They usually come out with classic Bullsh1t like "immigrants are coming here taking all our jobs" . Even though it's usually jobs Brits themselves wouldn't touch with a barge pole, but they still like to complain . |

All I will say is when did the Baftas dumb down to be awarding "moments" like a woman saying a word with funny pronunciation. :/

I'll just go on record as saying im not bothered Diversity won a Bafta, it doesn't affect me either way, good for them i guess? Awards, and award shows are just meh to me in general.
My post was about BLM, not a Diversity dance routine (though i did enjoy watching them on BGT all those years ago).

Diversity are already a laughing stock within the households I visit on a daily basis, when I get chatting about what they can all watch on their tvs now I've fixed them...I request certain areas of london on my round, cause I know I get honest chat.
And believe me, it ain't all how you would imagine. Uncle something or others ive heard mentioned... Last edited by Beso; 08-06-2021 at 08:58 PM. |
