I guess he must have a good business plan as he is literally unemployable at this stage

And I'm not sure anyone is going to want to read his autobiography.

It is nice to see people who relentlessly defended his actions last year to suddenly see him for what he is.

Whatever he is and with all his now declared nasty traits.

This Prime Minister employed him, trusted him, put him at the heart of government.
With him being his closest advisor too.
Even hailing his integrity!!!

So it actually says much more about the judgement of this Prime Minister than much about Cummings.

Employer: trusts/promotes employee
Employee: stabs another colleague

It’s the employers fault because he trusted them and they’re the business owner!

Except we're not talking about a stabbing, we're talking about how he conducted his job.... which is certainly a part of his employer's responsibilities.

What Cummings is saying isnt new though. We all know that Hancock is incompetent and has lied or re-interpreted the truth since the start of the pandemic. So it's not going to damage the PM and its not going to damage Hancock any more than it could already.

Hancock has always been the fall guy for government. When the enquiry comes along they have their guy to blame. Hancock seems quite content to go along with that too

Cummings is an idiot and so snidey at this point its not difficult to see why Boris was possibly so unwilling to let him go after the Barnard Castle debacle, he knew just how low he would snoop.

Boris has learned an important lesson about anything you put in writing can come back and bite you on the arse though.

It's a messy affair whichever side you look at it.

I do think Hapless Hancock has made a massive hash of things and needs to be held accountable for his failings though

….hmmmmm, maybe….but he also knew that he’d placed himself in a position to be compromised because ‘there is no honour among the thieves’ as they say…I think it’s all a thing of self protection etc now, rather than a lesson learned….

I don't know about this. Would Boris say half the things he said to him, especially on WhatsApp, if he was aware of what a snake he was? Is Boris that stupid?
