Yeah there's no evidence that any god exists, but there's plenty to show that drinking Coke isn't exactly healthy. One's a belief, the others fact.
If any should be punished, it's not the one that did so to encourage young people to drink water. |

To be honest I don't think it makes a huge amount of sense for soft drink or beer companies to be sponsoring sporting events in the first place... surely there's plenty of scope for sponsorship from sporting brands? Even energy drinks (sports ones, not caffeine) would make a lot more sense for football than sugary soft drinks and beer
. I'm pretty sure Coca Cola own plenty of those too.

I think the worst and most dangerous sponsorship around sport is betting.

it's not that long ago, and most certainly in my lifetime where tobacco companies were major sponsors at sporting events and no-one batted an eyelid. That changed by pressure from health groups so the precedent is there to correct the stupidity

It's a deliberate tactic of course. Tempt 'em in with a football bet, then bait them into a bigger money-sink with a free bet on Horses or a "competition" free-play on the machines. I had a vague plan to actually engage in some anti-gambling stuff when I left, but to be honest once I was actually out of there I just wanted nothing more to do with it. Maybe one day.
