Also, the increasing number of children/teenagers at Drag shows, Dragcon, the community and fandom online etc RuPaul even proposed a children's version of "Drag Race".

The amount of younger people loving this is insane

But anyway, we're talking more about Drag here rather than the issue itself because Drag is just a part of what Orban is targeting.

Sure, both books that are probably already banned by Orban as he doesn't want any kind of "propaganda" to kids. Great idea.

He already banned hundreds of books that differ from the "Straight" point of view. Talk about erasure. So at this point we'll talk the rainbows since this is all there is left.

If the American trend of wearing everything on one's sleeve and screaming about how "queer" everyone is wasn't so garish and off-putting, the decent books would probably have flown under his radar.

There has been some discourse online about open portrayals of "kink" at supposedly family-friendly Pride events, which is also gross.

I think the most important thing is that anyone working with or being involved with children should be properly vetted regardless of who they are. It seems to have all gotten a bit lax around child safe guarding for fear of causing offense

And nobody said otherwise. Not sure why the debate was centered around Drag Queens as if they were paedophiles or whatever. They're entertainers.
And again, the parents bringing their children to Drag shows or watching Drag Race know what they're bringing them to. And as we said before, doing stuff for children is a specific field in the Drag industry.
