In everyday life we all have to press lift buttons,ring doorbells , touch items etc. We might not want to especially now in COVID times but just bring a hand sanitizer around with you .

Well people use their knuckles to knock as a rule...unless you are prone to sticking your knuckles in your mouth at certain points of the day...

I know what you're saying,but either way you have to wash your hands , I personally always wash my hands especially if I've been on a bus touching hand rails or touching doors .
