You seem to be getting angry that I'm reporting news stories that you don't want to exist. Unfortunately this is reality of what's happening whether you like it or not.

really doubt that Aguero's health problems are vaccine related but any anti-vaxxer wants to blame the vaccines for literally anything bad

Nobody has blamed them on vaccines, they're just suspicious of why the big rise in these cases all of a sudden and would like to find out why. It's not too much to ask, our lives may depend on it.

that said, these heart attacks in sports are a problem to be taken very seriously

and have been going on longer than covid times too

for example

Antonio Puerta

Marc-Vivien Foe

Phil O'Donnell

That's a fair example, why didn't you start with that instead of being all arsey about it?

I hear there was another situation yesterday with a Manchester United player.

Something odd is happening, there's been too many lately for it just to be a coincidence.

Apparently a small number of staff and players have tested positive for covid this am despite testing negative yesterday, could that explain it?

I don't know. Here's some footage of the incedent, he seems to be complaining of his heart beating too fast. I've never heard of that being a symptom of having Covid.

How do you come to that conclusion...he is pointing to the side opposite where his heart is?

Apparently he complained of breathing difficulties which is a symptom of covid

Chest pains affects the whole chest, not just where the heart rests. But good observation all the same, I hope you buy my excuse/explanation.

The question to ask is, is it at an increased rate or is there increased/broader reporting? This is something that's always happened in high-level sports to some degree... these are people who are pushing their bodies well past "normal everyday use" if that makes sense. I'd need to see some actual stats to know if it's something that is genuinely increasing in frequency ("it seems like it is" can have other explanations).

It's happening more frequently, almost every time sky sports football live scores show is on they seem to be reporting on another game being held up due to an emergency in the crowd.

Does your town or city have a yearly event which gathers large crowds? If it does, you would know about someone collapsing in the crowd because it would be local gossip!

Can you put yourself in a position to remember anyone collapsing at such events?

It is happening more and more, it's clearly evident everytime you turn sky football on.

I think they have changed the rules on this and the game has to be stopped now whereas before it would just carry on? Is that something to do with defibrillators which every ground has now?

From google, not that I am calling you a crank

For most of its history, football ignored medical emergencies among fans and carried on. No longer. Stopping games is the only thing that has changed and it is a change for the better. It maximises the chances of survival for those who suffer from serious conditions. Cranks are trying to hijack this positive move for their own insidious agenda.

isn't it true that since the player collapsed at the euros, that everyone is much more proactive about emergencies now. They know the team medics can do something, they saw it, so now they flag the team doctors rather than asking a steward for help

yes they send trained staff who are part of the coaching team, the game can't carry on as if a player gets injured the medics are treating the person in the crowd

simples

That still doesnt prove that there hasnt been a rise in the number of collapses.

The increase of cocaine intake by the aging ruffian on match days might have something to say in this.

A medical emergency would include anxiety and panic attacks as well so its possible
