Maybe you'd enjoy it more if you were a nerd or an outsider as it sort of tailors to that.
I'm a nerd and an outsider and to me the Show is at best average.

Personally though I think in fairness to Stranger Things I just don't like Netflix programming that much, with the odd exception obviously.

But I hate how Stranger Things and most Netflix Shows only start having decent pacing in the last two episodes of the season, until then it's like watching paint dry.

Yeah I don't agree with Thomas C on that part as Fantasy is one of it's genres so it should be far fetched to an extent imo.

If anything one of my main issues with Stranger Things as a programme is that it's too mundane/Slice Of Life for the kinda Show it's meant to be.

Yes I'd describe it as average too. I can't stand slow things.

Exactly and I like things to at least make sense.....like she has powers so much so she can shove someone through a wall who then turns into this alien type thing and happens to then be in an upside down world.

It has some really good parts but I've found myself drifting off so much.

For me the pacing is the biggest thing that kills it for me.

More focus on whatever phenomenon they want to focus on in the season and less of the Human Drama (because to me their cast just isn't that interesting) then I'd personally be in better stead with the programme.

We can't all like the same things. Stranger Things is not something I would have ever chosen to watch. All the kids at my sons school were watching so he wanted to too. I sat and watched it with him and was hooked. We were late to the party though and watched the first 3 during lock down.....it was a welcome binge to alleviate the boredom. It was cute coz my boy developed his first celeb crush on the girl who plays Max(gingers unite )

Oh just to clarify people can like whatever they want to like (as long as it's not harming anyone else) I didn't mean to come across as a dictator where people have to justify why they like the Show.

If anyone on here likes Cuties however I'll be searching your ass.

I do feel the 2 "gay" storylines were unnecessary and crowbarred in for VS likes

utterly no need for either and just got in the way of a great series

just stop it writers

The guy who plays Eddie (Joseph Quinn) is English, i just heard him in a interview, i was shocked when he started speaking He was born and raised in South London. Would have never known.

Also, i love Stranger Things. This wasn't my favourite season but i still loved it. I dunno what to say really, this show just hits different. There's something about it. I could watch it over and over. I honestly don't mind the slow episodes either, at all.

10/10.

(also, Max is stunning, gingers unite indeed )

There has to be ebb and flow in a series like this for it to have an impact. If it was 100% kill the monsters, it wouldn't be watchable past 30 mins

Tbf I 100% understand that.

I think for me I would've had the Show and characters be a bit like Silent Hill characters for the most part, with the Sheriff & Winona Ryder's characters being the everyday characters exploring the weird phenomenon that's happening around them.

I have to say the lads that play Dustin and Lucas did so well this series, they really stood out to me this time, and their acting in the finale was absolutely heartbreaking. They are going on to huge things after season 5 ends!

Yeah agree, Dustin and Lucas (Lucas especially) have been great. I thought Will was very good too, along with Max. I mean they're all good, but those 4 really stood out to me.

Mmmm interesting.

The only ones that have really impressed me acting wise are Eleven , Will , Max , Steve Harrington and Winona ..

Actually all the cast is pretty good. I loved all the new characters this time even though they got killed off. Chrissy and Eddie should have been around a lot longer!!
