A Poem about Winter by Jake

As the days go colder and the nights get longer. For some it can be lonely,

Others have no home and have to be cold and outside all the time. Remember to be kind and spread some warmth when you walk past someone in need think if you can spare a dime.

Learn to embrace the chill, as you get your scraper out to defrost your car, and you can see your dragon breath from afar.

Learn to enjoy the grass with its new fashion look of iced tips. Think of the hedgehogs and squirrels and the like that all of winter time have gone for a kip. Something we all wish we could do I'm sure, but we enjoy seeing everyones shiny lights and wreaths upon the door.

So although winter can be miserable and cold, and it's not easy for the old, there can be such beauty in winter time. So grab a Gin, Sloe or pink or even Lime

Enjoy cosying up with a loved one, enjoy hugging your hot water bottles, enjoy your comfy PJs and slippers, enjoy wearing your favourite comfy jumpers and hats outside, and when you get in to bed and feel that chill on the sheet and do that little shake to regain the heat.

There's a lot to enjoy in winter. Summer is just around the corner. So enjoy the cold for what it is. Look forward to merry days along with some fizz.

Make sure you spot a robin at this time of year, and try to keep up your delightful cheer
