Just caught up now and I agree. It was a great episode.

It was released on BBC iPlayer this 06.00 and I have a feeling that’s how it’s going to be for the rest of the week, so if you aren’t working days (or at all) this week you might be able to catch it early.

I wish they had done this on some hot island paradise. The aesthetics would be so much better. Scotland just looks so wet cold and miserable and I’m worried this was filmed in the summer hahah

Those first few episodes where they will doing the missions in the rain and cold just looked miserable lol Apparently the US version which airs soon was filmed straight after the U.K. show in the same location |

Meh. His body hasn’t been found but it’s like they’ve deliberately made it ambiguous should Danny Dyer ever want to return. Personally I went off him long ago so I’m not bothered.

No wonder most people no longer have a good sense of humour and instead prefer to take and seek out to be offended by most things including words. Last edited by Alf; 26-12-2022 at 10:19 PM. |

The snowflake generation became a thing long after Eastenders was particularly popular in the public eye. As far as most people are concerned it’s just a relic of its former glory now. It’s been a fair bit better this year than it was for most of the 10/11 years before it (which with a few exceptions were utter trash) but this thing about people taking offence and not having a decent sense of humour has nowt to do with EastEnders.

I know that Emmerdale desperately wants us not to sympathise with Chas at the moment (which’ll be why the writing/characterisation for her gets worse every episode) but I’m still low-key rooting for her. Maybe the fact that Lucy Pargeter herself hates this storyline is something to do with it but either way what Chas has done is no worse than what Paddy’s done in the past. The deal-breaker for me otherwise would be that she hasn’t showed much in the way of genuine remorse and she’s obviously still in love with Al but I don’t know. I don’t know. There’s something about her that makes it hard to hate her completely.
