Because Reality TV contestants are just regular joe people who are not ready to face all of the vitriol that would be spewed on their appreciation threads if they were to come across them.

I don't think its a good idea to have too many threads where you can tell people they're not allowed say certain things about celebrities

Where’s the harm though

I can only see benefits

You would see far more threads being made and if someone felt strongly enough they could start a thread to slag them off ( a roast type thread)
