That was probably America's strongest pairing as well, it's incredible how badly they played

Anyone know why on Earth the top golfers all give their caddies 10% of their purses !?

Just seems ridiculous

They’d be content with say a flat fee of £5,000 per round surely ?

it's been that way since the beginning of professional golf. The caddie can make or break a winner and thats why they deserve the money. They know what club to play when, what way a putt is going to fall. There is a lot going on in professional golf and the caddie is a critical part of that

Default Ryder Cup 2023

What just happened !?

The yanks ball was completely buried so they decided it was unplayable

So he dropped it further back on top of the grass !?

Does that cling as extra shot ??

Edit

He actually won the hole and the point !

I’m confused

He declared it unplayable, dropped it not nearer the hole and took a penalty shot.

Fair enough .. what if it goes into a pond ?

If Fleetwood wins this hole, that guarantees the half point Europe needs.
