Thank you all so much for your care and support, and to Kate for starting this thread.

I am still in shock and can't believe he has gone. Andy was only 59, and we spent 32 years together. He had been unwell for some time, but we had no idea how bad things really were. He suddenly became very weak and we called him an ambulance last Saturday. Over the week he went downhill very quickly, his liver and kidneys failed and he got pneumonia. He went on dialysis in ICU, but it was too late, and he passed away peacefully on Friday night.

My Daughter and my friends are supporting me closely, and I am so grateful to also have the support of you all on tibb.

Jax, I’m so sorry for your loss. I understand how sudden a loss like this is. It’s definitely not easy, but you’ve got a lot of people on here to talk to who care about you.

…Jax……you’re hugely in my thoughts today…so many partners and family members that we don’t ever get to meet in all of the time we’re …I feel so blessed that we did have that chance to meet him on the forum and feel his humour and warmth……

Thankyou everyone , Yesterday was what turned out to be a sad but very beautiful day and many said it was the best service they had ever been to ~ due to an incredible celebrant who went above and beyond to capture the essence of him , and of course my diamond daughter who had everyone laughing with her memories . The coffin amazed everyone because it was so different . I also want to thank Cherie for arranging the beautiful flowers sent on behalf of TIBB friends, they really are very lovely and super kind of you's. He really had a send off he woud have enjoyed.

….awwww, I’m so glad that you felt that celebration of his life also and felt the love from those who’s lives he touched…through the bittersweet, that sweet is also so important because that’s the person you all loved and that’s the person who lives in your hearts ……

I attended a funeral yesterday and the celebrant there was fabulous too....
