Can you not find somewhere cheaper? Or even just go for the day if you have paid for some activities. You'll be there in an hour or so from Wigan. Just a thought

Going on a vacation is a privilege. It sucks but it’s true. Sometimes you have to work instead of having much needed time off but unfortunately that’s just how life is these days

Look on hotel booking sites, a lot don't need payment till you arrive. They take debit card details but no payment till you get there
