The show has pretty much run out of steam since lily left, and that is largely due to the fact she annoyed the other hm's. I would imagine the highlights will be pretty grim from here on

I personally have missed having Comedy like that in this day and age as everything has to be "mature" and "sophisticated" nowadays, I normally have to go retro to find something more outrageous like Marcello's fan letters.

I get what you mean - I love a good Family Guy for example, and some close to the line humour. I just don't think Marcello is that but each to their own

I’ve seen a lot of people saying it’s bias because his song featured on the show, but this has definitely happened in previous seasons. Just off the top of my head I remember Anton fully performing his song on stage with a mic in the garden in BB12, and maybe slightly different but Coolio and Sisqo definitely performed their songs on CBB.

It’s actually baffling the lengths they’re going to to push for him to win. There’s like no criticism of him allowed what so ever on Late & Live. Anything he says or does is defended as just being “banter”, the secret mission to which the reward was solely for him to promote his awful song and then they continue to promote it on L&L.

Any other housemate is open for debate on L&L but any form of criticism for him is shut down by AJ and Will, like who does Marcello know working at ITV cause it’s so bizarre.

But just to add, I think that I relate to Marcello on having a bizarre sense of humour that can sometimes be taken the wrong way by some people.

Because I actually do think that Marcello is overall quite harmless.

In week 1 though I did have a very bad opinion of him back then.
