…not just the victim herself but her parents/family…her loved ones, I just can’t imagine how they’re all feeling right now when they’re all trying to put their world back together…the whole thing is just beyond any words, really…and that faith/any faith in a system will never be restored now…

Having visited some one in prison they put a different coloured stamp on your hand on each visit because at some point a prisoner walked out with the visitors

…yeah I saw these two images this morning, they couldn’t be any more clear, could they…and yet there he is, still at large/with all of the promise of CCTV-ness …and they have him basically being tracked through it and yet can’t get him back into custody…it really doesn’t give any faith in a system…actually, although it’s a completely different thing, it is also giving me shades of when Charlie Kirk was killed and the CCTV footage there…and the whole of the big ol’ FBI on the trail…and yet, he had to give himself up…how crazy the times we live in with all of this super tracking stuff…I mean, this man is not going to give himself up, is he…

UPDATE: Hadush Kebatu has been arrested

Hadush Kebatu, who was released in error from HMP Chelmsford on Friday morning, has been arrested.
Kebatu was arrested by Met officers in the Finsbury Park area of London at around 08:30hrs this morning (Sunday, 26 October).
Commander James Conway, who has overseen the operation to find Kebatu, said: “This has been a diligent and fast paced investigation led by specialist officers from the Metropolitan Police, supported by Essex Police and the British Transport Police.
“Information from the public led officers to Finsbury Park and following a search, they located Mr Kebatu. He was detained by police, but will be returned to the custody of the Prison Service.
“I am extremely grateful to the public for their support following our appeal, which assisted in locating Mr Kebatu.”
