Well when you think about it, the public pay for the vast majority of the calls they make, premium rate or not

i think that they should just donate it all to charity, anyone that complains is clearly one of those people that has nothing better to do

I am not too concerned about the money as everyone is aware ofthe rules and these things happen.I am frustrated that we will not have a live eviction and the crowd won't get the chance to boo and air their feelings towards Alex. Why has she been removed? Did she wimp out? Did they let her go? Was she forced out? Was this fixed? All housemates facing eviction should not be allowed to leave until eviction night, it's unfair. Then again maybe she is being held in solitary confinement. What is going on? If she has been removed for breaking rules can we please know the actualreason. We have been done out of another good Friday night.

There is a thread in here somewhere explaining why she was removed.

Possibly there will be an interview with Davina (with no crowd) on Friday, and then she will go into hiding again.

They'll probably donate all profits to charity and make the next ones free or something. I can't believe some people would actually complain about losing 25p for god's sake!

Well x that by the number of callers. They're making out like bandits. You have to have standards.

Well true, but I think 10p of that goes to charity anyway. You all wanted zero tolerance, you got it. You all wanted Alex out, she's gone, what's the point in complaining about 25p?

by voting you automatically accept the terms and conditions whether you have read them or not. perhaps people should actually read the t&cs instead of just voting and expecting a refund.

by the way, they make no money off the back of voting. any costs cover initial administration costs and proceeds go to charity (which is around 10p).

That's stealing. I voted so many times to keep Mario in and it was all for nothing. They're crooks.

and you got your wish so wheres the problem? by voting you are expected to know about the t&cs, and they clearly say no refunds.

its not stealing, its stupidity from the voters not knowing what they are putting themselves in for.

oh and your money has gone to charity now which didn't happen in previous years with refunds (except for last year). its rather selfish if you want to claim back what you paid. its your own fault for voting.

Rubbish, They're crooks, they know what they are doing stealing money from the stupid voters and I've been caught up in it by accident, that's why I'm mad. I'm not thick enough to vote usually.

no, you've been caught up in it by choice not by accident. by voting, you are accepting the terms and conditions as part of the agreement for you having your vote counted. the terms and conditions state that should a housemate leave, no refund will be given.

as far as channel 4 and endemol are concerned, you are aware of this because as i say by voting you agree to the terms and conditions, therefore you agree to no refund.

You can get a refund:

Quote:
Information about this week's vote....

This week's vote has been cancelled due to Alexandra's removal from the Big Brother House. Channel 4 is making no profits from this year's Big Brother vote and as a result at least 10p from every 35p vote will be shared amongst this year's charities: PAPYRUS, Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Scope.

If however you voted for either Mario or Alexandra prior to this week's vote being cancelled and would like a refund you can write to Big Brother at the below address. You will need to send a copy of a phone bill to verify the telephone number you voted from as well as your name and address and you will need to tell us how many times you voted. Once your vote(s) have been verified we will send you a cheque refunding you for the votes you cast. You do not need to put a stamp on your envelope.
