Well it was good I have to say. They followed the book pretty well, though I have to say some bits were randomly and unnecessarily mixed up; such as half of what Edward told Bella in the car home was cut out and put in a different setting.

As I predicted the magic didn't quite translate to screen but the main actors playing the part of Edward and Bella did a fantastic job.

Overall, I'd give it 8/10, though had I not read the book I would've given it 9/10. I can't wait for the New Moon!

I haven't read the book so I'm really optimistic now! I'm getting all the books for Christmas.

I probably won't read the other books after Twilight. They aren't very good from what I've heard.

I'll just see the films!

I've attempted to read Twilight again today, I've started from the beggining and I've just finished the 'interrogations chapter'. It's quite an addictive book.

My friend in america went to see this when it came out and she was really disappointed in it. She's a huge fan of the books.

I can totally see why. Though the main Edward and Bella were both played well, the majority of the cast was badly cast and the acting was cringy at times (particularly Bella's friends and family).

Like Callum said, the special effect were, at times, poor and unrealistic. Such as Edward's skin turning glittery when in the sun, it looked like they just wiped a glitter glue on his face.

I still liked it, but only because I was a fan of the book. It's NOT the new Harry Potter (though I prefer the Tiwlight books).

Oh I'm quite dissapointed about the glow-y thing then, I was looking foward to see how they would do it. I've only got 6 chapters left to read now so I think i'm gonna polish it off tomorow.

Finally finished the book! It was exciting to have some big events happen towards the end. It was pretty much three hundred pages of a build up. I really liked it though. I think I will read New Moon now.

I'm just a very very fast reader, plus i've had nothing to do this weekend.

I finished the book a few minutes ago, it's a great book i'm gonna have to go out and buy the rest of them now. I hope the Cullens get bigger parts in the other book as I really like Alice and Jasper.

I'm surprised i liked the book though as i ussually can't stand romance novels.

Ooh. I forgot to post about the film.
It was a really great film, with great acting from the main characters. I think it did the book justice but when I came out I just felt it lacked somthing? I can't describe what it just lacked something. Overall I'd give it about 7.5/10. I will definetly see the rest of the films. I recommend it to anyone who has read the book and anyone that hasn't.

Ohh, okay! I bought it for Christmas too.

My friend said it's really depressing compared to Twilight. She can't "re-read" it like she can the others. I hope it isn't that ****. lol

Oh no, haha. She probably meant like the storylines are depressing in the book or something.
