and how do you define what IS and ISN'T in moderation?
Because if you exceed more than five units of CAPS per day you risk cirrhosis of the liver later on in life.

I often get the impression that I am being assaulted by a yellow troupe of cheerleaders. Crazy world we live in.

I have BETTER things to worry about, it doesnt affect my life how things are posted...there are worse things in life to worry about. Posting in caps ...oh dear how terrible...rules ...rules sometimes are broken. I wouldnt do it on purpose as I did it once not remembering to take caps lock off...but it wont make me lose sleep..I dont care. I find it more annoying when people go on a make such a big deal out of it and do not wait for the moderators to deal with it.

Thank you for agreeing..I have seen some really nasty comments and received one for doing the ultimate of sins posting in CAPS!!! how sad. I have seen caps many times since..but as I said it does not affect me..offend me..or bothe me...rules fair enough but dont get distraught over it for goodness sake. Life has far more important things..soldiers in Afghan...children starving. Put things in perspecitive!!

No offence to anyone, but this is the most uptight forum I have ever been on! (I just did a quick count and I currently use 8 forums and have lurked on quite a few more)

I've never been bothered about posting in caps, slightly wrong titles on threads, threads in the wrong place, whats the point of worrying about that? I'm not letting it spoil my day. As somone else said, so long as it's readable, it doesn't matter.

But one thing that really annoys me is people who have a go at people who cannot spell. Have you thought that that person might be dyslexic? The batteries in their keyboards might be running out? (this happens often to me, though I do check for errors) Or even to a lesser extent have a health issue that is giving them trouble coordinating their hand movements?

I agree but if you honestly think this is the most uptight forum ... holy hell. This place is more Disney's Adventure than Auchwitz Birkenau. The rules only really get battered on people from really bored members, and most people ignore them guys. This forum is essentialy what happens when the teacher leaves the class and the kids start launching paper planes at each other.
