This is exactly why she is over-rated. She does have nothing to stand out from the crowd to be honest. She is lucky she was there at the good time. If she released her first album today, people would have never noticed her. She has no voice, she can't sing live, she dances like a whale.

Success =/= talent. By over-rated, I'm assuming most people are going by the "lots of success without any talent" rule. She has her voice, and even that's not amazing, hence overrated. You've really just given people who think she's overrated ammunition .
