i love poltergeist as well! not the most jumpy or scary!! but wow its a classic! did you know that the little girl who starred in that died while making the 3rd poltergeist film towards the end!!! not good forgot what she died of now!

seriously lol me and my bf were just laughing all the way through.Aprant from the bit where she killed the kitten and I couldn`t watch oh and when the old lady kept spilling her mouth slime in the girls mouth and I gagged.Erugh.
I thought it was hilair though,best bit is when the goat calls her a fat *****.

Back to subject though,love horrors,my absolute favourite genre.Generally I will only go to the cinema to watch horrors.

Went to see Drag Me To Hell just there, such a funny movie, not scary at all.

I knew she died the little girl, i watched a show ages back about poltergeist being cursed, cause so many people died during it..... i also did a project for my film course on the film.

As for Drag me to hell, most left when it came to the kitten being killed, one girl looked like she was going to be sick!

DMTH was classic Sam Raimi, I.E very funny. I think my favourite Horror films would go like this:

Scream Trilogy
The Original Halloween (but only the first one)
REC
Final Destination (1 was good, 2 & 3 were guilty pleasures)
The Orphanage
Evil Dead 1 & 2
Dawn of the Dead (A rare case when a remake surpasses the original)
Grindhouse (Although I'd say they were both more thriller and action type films)
Carrie
IT
Pet Sematary
Seven (Classed as a horror, I'd say it's a thriller though)
Darkness Falls (Guilty Pleasure)
Ginger Snaps
Jaws
Nightmare on Elm Street (Original only)

I can't think of any more, there's a few I like though.
