Big brother can change their rules whenever they want. It's their show. This is what Big Brother is. It's a game.

Broadcasting regulations are breached when rules are changed which affect the voting public.

This is an example of such a breach.

I think that if you are going to send the something then maybe you should do it in another way. Ask them why they didn't show it, maybe there is some strange reason. Ask them so they can't just give you a standard response.

I probably wouldn't send a letter to Ofcom at all, but I don't think it's wrong to do so. You have the right to tell them what you think. Use it if it makes you feel better.

I've complained to Channel 4, but they always have the same old generic reply:

"Thanks for your feedback. Your complaint has been logged"

It's annoying! So I complain to ofcom.

Halliwell! Where did you get that avatar?

I'm guessing that's one of the pictures that was taken with the cameras the housemates bought one week. Angel & Siavash are missing. One of them must be taking the piccie, and the other I suppose maybe answering a call of nature. Perhaps!

To Ofcom,

I am sending you another complaint regarding Channel 4’s Big Brother.

I feel that the editing of the show has been completely manipulated in such a huge manner, that the viewing public and voters are being lied to, suggesting a breach of broadcasting regulations.

On the Big Brother live feed on Sunday 5th July at 00:41am, there was a conversation between the housemates Lisa, Karly and Dogface about nominations. The trio were clearly talking about nominations in code (including the covering of her face from Lisa), which is in breach of the fundamental Big Brother rule stating: “It is not permitted to discuss nominations, or try to influence anyone else’s nominations.”

If Big Brother had acted accordingly to the rules, the trio would have been punished. This punishment has altered in the past, but has frequently been the exclusion of nominations from housemates involved with such a breach.

However, in the transmission of the episode on Sunday evening, the conversation was completely missed out by the editors. This is a serious violation of the rules regarding “fair editing” of the show.

As a result of not showing this conversation, the housemates were not shown breaking the rules and Big Brother took no action. This is a blatant cover up to the public and the voters.

Therefore, the competition rules have been infringed by the editors as viewers are told to vote to evict people who perhaps should not be up for the vote if the appro[riate action was taken from Big Brother.

This is a clear breach of regulations (as I have said previously), and I hope you can investigate this fully as otherwise voters are spending money on a competition which is unfair and heavily biased.

I hope that the matter can conclude in a way whereby the appropriate companies including Channel 4, Brighter Pictures and Endemol, are fined for their lies.

I hope to receive a reply soon,

Gavin

I think this is good and i agree with it!

It's a game! If you don't like it, don't watch. No wonder BB gets duller. Each year they have new restrictions because of complaints like these. That's probably why live feed was taken off.

Yes I know it's a game.

But it's a competition which involves the public's input, so lying to the public is completely in breach of regulations.

The producers always say the highlights are fair accounts of the day's events.

But clearly it is not the case.

It actually is disgraceful. I have already complained more than a dozen times about Big Brother, especially the obvious bias shown.

Towards Lisa, Karly, Dogface in this instance.

Completely editing out their nominations chat which they should have been punished for.

why can't you complain to channel 4 if you are that bothered... but for god sakes don't you people like you keep on keepin on complaining to bloody ofcom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If the program is bent then it's pointless watching(not to mention spending money to vote) and it does not deserve to survive
thats a very selfish view plenty of other people take it for what it is just a show and enjoy it
it saddens me that a minority can have such a influence on what people can and can not watch

It is a TV show... they can edit how ever they like. There is nothing you can do about that... housemates will of agreed to it.

Not really.

The producers ruin BB by cheating and lying to the viewing public and voters.

It's not people like me ruining it. We have the right to complain.

If the show is edited unfairly and is clearly biased, then the entire competition is put into disrepute.

What do i think, i think it;s unnecessary, stupid and dull.
Charlie was the only of the three that blatantly implied who he was nominating. Lisa was speaking generally and Karly barely said a word.

Like McGarry said. Karly barely said a word, and Lisa wasn't bein direct about it.

But the more people complain about every little thing, the worse BB gets.

Back in BB1 - 3 there were none of these rules that they have now. That's what made it good.
