What are your main reasons for watching BB? What do you want to see happening?

What is your main reason for watching the show, is it entertainment? As I watch more for the social dynamics (I like to watch people) so for me it has been a really interesting year, which is why I am enjoying the power struggles etc. The tasks to me are just the sidenotes that help cause some tensions etc to help change whatever dynamics etc that form because of it.
I've been watching Big Brother for ages and in a lot of countries it aired. My main reason is the experiment. I don't see it as a TV show but as an experiment to see groups dynamics and exploring new characters in new situations. It can work out very well (BB5 and BB6) or it can be a disaster (BB7) but whatever is happening in a series, I keep watching. I've never stopped watching mid-series.
When I said BB UK is starting to fail, that's my opinion based on what I see in other countries. BB UK has been the 'perfect' Big Brother exemple around the world, not one of a foreign version hasn't adapted a BB UK twist or task. But then I feel it's time for some other versions to take other as the leader. However BB UK will remain as my fave version and obviously as a 'role model' for the other versions.

So, from the start when Lisa took control of her little group and their early dominance and anti-freddie mentality with attacks on Freddie for being Freddie, and the forums go crazy with bullying and that BB didn't step in (probably because Freddie never said he was being bullied). To Freddies plan to expose their nastiness to the other housemates so that they all started to notice the clique (ok, obviously theres more to it). For weeks the forums were saying that BB should do something, then with Kris putting himself up and being evicted, the unification of the 'freaks' and fighting back, now with the demise of Karly (as its looking that way) and we are now left with two clear groups in the house. It does seem like a perfect time for the new housemates, any sooner and we may not of had the demise of the group in such an explosive manner.

Does anyone now think, that even though they should have stepped in sooner with things at times, that in general the producers have done a reasonable good job with their timings or do you think its just been luck.

I'm enjoying this big brother, it was looking bad for a while with Lisa's dominance but now it has all imploded and this now makes for great viewing (loved the conversation yesterday about how groups have happened and Lisa and co's dissaprovement of this).

What does everyone else think of this years BB 6 weeks in?

Discuss (worth 10 points) - just like school exams.
I think it started off slow, took me a while to get into it but it's been interesting after the 3rd week and poor Freddie, they way they picked on him for no reason. It's been okay. Still not as good as BB7
