I rang daughter in law to make sure she stocked up on food for Bobby.
They were at the pet shop within the hour😂
I really don’t think they have a clue when it comes to shopping.

When we see eggs again, it will be like bananas after the war

we will be frying, scrambling, poaching, omelettes

that said I bought two packs of 12 3 weeks ago so I still have some in my fridge

I just hope we can get pet food Smudgie, otherwise they will be eating our stuff (that's if we can get any)

My fella has 3 that he likes, the one I buy him is good stuff, the other 2 are either a really cheap ****ty one or one that gives him the runs and he will literally starve himself if I put anything else in front of him

Again with the snipy emoji.. your reaction to the news from your friend was 'it's pathetic', without even a thought as to why the shopper might be buying the goods that's not an opinion... it's a judgement.

So? I can't have an opinion on this ridiculous bulk buying by inconsiderate people without you commenting on ME instead?

I'm replying to your comment as you replied to mine Marsh. . That's how a forum works.
Post patronising smilies and rude comments if you want, I will still have my say thank you.

I'm in a large M&S food store and it's like walking into a shop from the beforetimes! Shelves stocked full of everything (except pasta and toilet roll). But fresh meat & veg coming out your ears in here.

The TL hit a local Pakistani shop and got milk and bread. They were selling individual loo rolls for Ł1 and loose pasta in a bag for Ł1

Thought I best do a full shop before everything goes tits up so I got up and got to asda for 6am. It was pretty suprisingly all the staff looked shocked and stressed. But im glad I went when I did. Managed to get toilet roll, pasta, nappies wipes etc before it all went again. So im sorted now which is a big weight off my mind

First time I've been in a big shop since coming back down to Essex..it was over in Kent. .

Shelves were empty and it was 10 o clock...only went in for a hot chicken skewer cause I'm of the vegan diet now....DAY 1.

There wasn't even hot pizza or pasties.

Since everyone ignored me first time

If you have a Marks and Spencers food store near you I recommend checking it out; we actually looked at each other confused for a second when we walked in and then laughed, because it wasn't short of stock at all... other than pasta and toilet roll. Got everything we wanted easily .

The "main" supermarkets (Tesco, ASDA, Sainsburies) are pretty bare btw so it's not just the area.
