Former Hollyoaks star Carley Stenson has admitted that she would consider another return to the soap.

The actress, who reprises her role as Steph Roach in a one-off Boxing Day special, said that the cast of the Channel 4 soap is like family to her.

"Never say never, I think. I always said when I chose to leave, before I knew how I was going to leave, that I would come back," she told MSN.

"I love it there - it's like my second home. It's around the corner from my actual home and my family.

"I love my character but I couldn't tell anyone that I was going back because I didn't want to ruin the surprise. In the future, maybe another year down the line, Steph may come back. It depends on what I'm doing as well!"

Steph was killed off in a fire last December and Stenson is currently starring in the West End production of Legally Blonde.

Some stupid people making up rumours on Twitter, which are not true that Kieron Richardson is leaving Hollyoaks.

Kieron has had to come out and rubbish the claims and said he has signed a new contract.. HO PR woman also said the exact same thing!

PR woman also confirmed on Twitter that we will at last be seeing a big Nancy storyline early Spring 2012.

Didnt they say last year that Nancy would have a massive storyline in 2011?

I hope there is, Nancy is a great character, but the character has not had that of a big storyline since being married to jake like 5 years ago.

Hollyoaks star Lucy Dixon has revealed that she is aiming to present a positive portrayal of teen life on the soap.

The actress made her debut as Tilly Evans in June and became a regular from September, when her character joined Hollyoaks' sixth form college.

Tilly's first storyline saw her have a holiday romance with Esther Bloom (Jazmine Franks) in Abersoch, but she has since shared most of her screen time with her fellow sixth formers.

Dixon told the Manchester Evening News of Tilly: "I think she just represents the general 16/17-year-olds in a brilliant way. Not all teenagers are binge-drinkers, and Tilly is the exact opposite of anything like that. She shows the good in teenagers. She's a hard worker, she's confident and self-assured.

"That includes in her sexuality. What is brilliant about Hollyoaks is they don't need to make a big issue of the fact she's a lesbian, she's just a teenager getting on with things.

"She's not defined by her sexuality, nobody is and I think that really shines through. You see that in the storylines between Ste and Brendan, too - the storyline is the domestic abuse in a relationship, it isn't that they're gay."

Dixon added that her interest in acting began at an early age when she took part in a school play.

"My mum and dad tell me that after that day I never stopped talking about it and, from that point on, I think they knew that was probably going to be the career for me," she said.

Paul Marquess had that planned but then his sudden out of the blue departure came and there were rumours on the net about some behind the scenes things, we'll never know but the storyline was scrapped.

I am just glad the PR woman has promised a big storyline for Jess Fox because she is a good actress and should not be sidelined for those teens!

I know everyone else seems to hate the sixth formers but I like them

I like the Maddie, George and Tilly threesome; granted I get people find George annoying and over the top, but I think it said he has a big sotryline coming up, so Im still going to give him a chance and see how he handles the storyline.

I also like Calum, but not to fussed on Neil or the other guy

The businessman decides that a surprise Valentine's Day ceremony would be the perfect romantic gesture for Nancy - but when he's tempted back to gambling, could he lose more than just his wedding fund?


Meanwhile, as Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) tries to put her difficult 2011 behind her, Lynsey Nolan (Karen Hassan) becomes an unlikely friend and source of support.

Just when it seems like the drama for Mercedes could be over, a charming doctor arrives on the scene and shows her the benefits of 'selling her services'. Could it be that Mercedes hasn't learned her lesson at all, and will she be heading down a dark path?

I liked all the McQueens having a scene together. Mercedes being a bit selfish and irresponsible leaving the baby with Bart but he is old enough to look after it, she has to have a break sometimes although she hasn't bonded with Bobby enough..

I like Jodie so far, how awkward was that date with Doug.

Liking the Warren/Mitzeee/Joel/Nancy/Brendan scenes and what a twist with Nancy reading the letter at the end..
