He confirms that Ste is going to get a new love interest, so him and Brendan are going to be kept seperate for a while to not bore the viewers of their on/off drama which will upset their fans for sure..

Barney is really developing into a good character, he makes me laugh and I think this bunch of students are starting to click but i've gone off Will, such a douche now.

Mercedes is in the wrong with her treatment of Riley as she is the one who destroyed their future with her very own actions. I can see why she is struggling to bond with Bobby and Riley is also still trying to punish Mercedes for her actions...

The students have really grown on me too and I agree that Will is turning into a douche. I hope they change this because I like him when he first arrived.

Double post. Well I tweeted the producer about Diane and she was asked about her in the DS interview too and said that she was planning to use Diane more in 2012, hope that is true!

Still more work to de done with those sixth formers though.

Oh I hope that happens. Alex Fletcher is such a great actress I feel like they are killing her by not having her on the show. She definitely needs a partner, either a new love interest of a best friend.

As for the sixth formers, they started to grow on me, well George, Maddie and Calum did. The Maddie/Calum story was too rushed.

These are the best bunch of studens we've had in a while. They all fit nicely. Would be cool to see Ash and Barney together too. I agree about will though, what's with all the awkward stupid faces he makes now? His whole thing has basically been based around Theresa, and now that's over, he's sort of a spare part.

I know Mercedes is no saint but Riley's hard done by act is wearing thin now, has he forgot that he kissed Alex and nearly slept with Mitzeee behind Mercedes' back when they were together.

Of course what Mercedes done with Carl was much worse but it was hilarious how Riley forgave his father all of a sudden when Carl was the one who during the affair had blackmailed Seth into keeping quiet and at least Mercedes had remorse in the end...

Yes!

I remember when I read the family were leaving I was hoping that didn't include Riley, but after this latest week I found myself thinking he might as well go as he's no use in the show anymore other than the constant sulking over what happened.

What happened to the caring Riley who was going out of his mind when Mercedes was locked up in the cellar ?
