In a way I am glad that Hollyoaks has a good PR department who are good at embargos because the press don't take much notice of the show tbh and shows like Corrie have had big spoilers all over the press, which have turned out to be true which then causes less more suspense for the viewers.

We didn't know that Clare was alive until the next episode and Jamie Lomas had already started filming last year in secret until the press spotted him at Hollyoaks HQ.

I laughed at the end of the C4 episode when Barney saw Tony and Cindy come out of the bush.

I am glad that Margaret saw sense before leaving and made up with Nancy, whilst accepting her marriage to Darren at last.

Cheryl had a good scene with Cindy, she's been busy with her studying and has been a bit bitchy/selfish but has redeemed herself.

Brendan starting on Scott for getting jiggy with Cheryl and then Joel jumping in was funny. I love how Mitzeee tries to keep them in track but Joel is no match for BB!

Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter has admitted that she was sad when her character Theresa McQueen broke up with Will Savage.

The pair ended their relationship in late December after drifting apart once Will had enrolled at Hollyoaks Community College.

In real life, Porter has been dating co-star James Atherton - who plays Will - for the past few months.

Porter told Inside Soap: "I was gutted when Will and Theresa split up. It wasn't just because I couldn't work with my boyfriend more, but also because James is such a great actor.

"I never thought in my life that I'd enjoy working with a boyfriend, but I absolutely love it. So both me and James really want Theresa and Will to get back together."

Theresa's old spark with Joel Dexter (Andrew Still) is about to be revisited on screen following his return to the village.

Porter said: "Clearly there's something between Theresa and Joel, and they do get together for a short while. But it all goes wrong after Joel bumps into Will and they end up having a fight. Theresa's not impressed by Joel's jealous streak - but she's still got the hots for him."

Hollyoaks star Claire Cooper has confirmed that the McQueen clan will be at "breaking point" in upcoming episodes of the soap.

The family have turbulent times ahead over the next few weeks as Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) lets her life spiral out of control, with devastating consequences for her loved ones.

Seeing how much Mercedes is missing her ex-fiancé Riley Costello (Rob Norbury) and their baby son Bobby, Cooper's character Jacqui decides to make contact with the footballer.

However, while Jacqui is away visiting Riley, Mercedes hits a new low by trying to kiss her sister's husband Rhys (Andrew Moss).

Cooper told Soaplife: "Jacqui knows something has to be done, and she's going to try and get Bobby back. She asks Rhys to keep Mercy company while she's gone."

Discussing the kiss, she continued: "Rhys tells Jacqui himself. He was horrified it happened. Jacqui goes round to the McQueens' house and has a massive argument with Mercy. She goes through all the things Mercy's done wrong in the past. In fact, all the McQueens join in - even Carmel.

"Mercy [then] reveals a dreadful secret. I can't say what it is. The McQueens are at breaking point, but this revelation brings the family back together."

Cooper added that viewers should not rule out a reunion for Mercedes and Riley.

She said: "There could be a second chance there for her and him."
