No good captains in this England team, Broady is a possibility but still too young and arrogant plus he's a bowler.. Bell maybe but then not sure he really wants it or is up to it

England needs a complete overhaul, last couple of years has disguised that we're not as good as we think we are. Watch India-South Africa going on atm and you can see how strong those two sides are, we're not near that. The England team for the next series in 2015 will be a lot different to this one

Ballance deserves a go definitely, would have preferred Carberry to miss out instead of Root though, think Carbs has showed he can't cut it as a test opener and Root is the future.

Dropping Monty is risky as well, Borthwick can be a bit all over the place apparently, big ask for him to be the main spinner on his debut

Root was YOUR MAIN BATTING PROBLEM. Him coming in and stinking the place up at 3 set the tone throughout the rest of your batting line up unacceptable his strike rate

Root has at least had one good innings and has shown how much ability he has in previous series, I think confidence is his main problem atm. And at his age it's obvious he's gonna be in and around the England team for the next decade, Carberry is 33, it's now or never for him and I don't think he's shown that he can cut it

Root is a bum his one good innings you hinted at he should have been out of 3 separate occasions how can the future of your team be a player who will be utterly useless on half the world map cause he can't play the bounce. Carbberry is another bum BUT has earned his right to stay ahead of EVERY OTHER batter in the team

He has already scored runs in India and NZ, played the bounce well in that one good innings of his, unfair to judge him too harshly on this series when none of the batsmen have performed. Plus his off spinners would be useful now that we only have Borthwick as a spinner

And I really don't care tbh lol, they've all come up through the English system and meet the criteria

I'm judging him in England where he was also useless don't let one innings where he should have been out of 3 separate occasions fool you. If your going to be scoring at a run every 30 balls you need to be averaging at least 50 because the pressure your putting on your fellow batters batting that way is immense

I think it's disgusting tbh and a big problem how can you expect players to play for your country to the death when they are from another country silly tbh
