Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Jojen Reed, a mysterious and enigmatic young man who becomes an important ally to Bran Stark.



Ellie Kendirck as Meera Reed. The eldest daughter of Howland Reed and a staunch Stark loyalist, Meera and her younger brother Jojen seek out Bran Stark to protect him on his hard journey north.



Tobias Menzies as Edmure Tully. The younger brother of Catelyn Stark, Edmure has recently become Lord of Riverrun in the wake of his father’s death.



Clive Russell as Bryndon “The Blackfish” Tully. Known far and wide as “The Blackfish,” Brynden is a famous knight and the uncle of Catelyn Stark. He quarreled bitterly with his brother, Lord Hoster Tully, and the two were estranged for many years.



Kristofer Hivju as Tormund Giantsbane. A famed wildling warrior and chief lieutenant of the “King Beyond the Wall,” Mance Rayder, Tormund is fearsome and strong, with a large build and a beard to match.



Mackenzie Crook as Orell. A wildling raider, Orell is a “warg” or “skinchanger,” with the ability to enter the mind of an animal and control its actions.



Richard Dormer as Beric Dondarrion. Once the lord of Blackhaven and a celebrated warrior, Lord Beric has now become the leader of the Brotherhood Without Banners, a band of vigilante outlaws.



Paul Kaye as Thoros of Myr. A key member of the outlaw band known as the Brotherhood Without Banners, he is a Red Priest, in service of the Lord of Light, and originally hails from the Free City of Myr, in Essos.



Philip McGinley as Anguy, an extremely skilled archer and key member of the outlaw band known as the Brotherhood Without Banners.



Diana Rigg as Lady Olenna Tyrell. Also known as “The Queen of Thorns,” Lady Olenna is the grandmother of Margaery and Loras Tyrell and is, in many ways, the true leader of their powerful family.



Nathalie Emannuel as Missandei. Originally from the peaceful island of Naath, Missandei was sold into slavery as a child, along with her brother. She received education in various languages and became a translator to the slave trader Kraznys in Astapor.



Tara Fitzgerald as Selyse Baratheon. The wife of Stannis Baratheon, Selyse spends much of her life in seclusion, shut away in a gloomy tower.



Kerry Ingram as Shireen Baratheon, the only child of Stannis Baratheon. An avid reader, she escapes her lonely life through myths and stories – her books are her most treasured possessions.



Anton Lesser as Qyburn, a former maester of the Citadel, who was stripped of his chain many years ago.

The weird guy from Misfits has been cast, very likely playing Ramsay Snow (Roose Bolton's bastard that they sent to get Winterfell back from Theon), you will all hate him more than you hate Joffrey.



Ramsay is cruel, savage and wild, taking delight in torturing others. He is quite fond of the old Bolton custom of flaying their enemies.

Ramsay is a capable manipulator and possesses a low cold cunning, particularly good at thinking on his feet, though less savvy when it comes to long term consequences and intricate politics. Ramsay openly enjoys abusive and sick practices such as having young women stripped naked and released into the Bolton forests, before hunting them with a pack of feral dogs. He gives a quick death to women who give him good sport (after raping them first), then flays their corpses. He likes to name his dogs after the women he enjoys most to "honor" them. The women who don't give him good sport are raped and then flayed alive. All the skins of his kills are brought back with him to the Dreadfort as gruesome trophies. The bodies of the woman are fed to his dogs.

Gary Lightbody from the British band Snow Patrol will be cameoing in Season 3 of Game of Thrones. He has said this is not a large role, so probably more likely to be a featured extra kind of thing. Lightbody and his bandmates have been big fans of the show since it started, frequently Tweeting about it and reccing it on their fan pages. Lightbody got into a mock Twitter-feud with a BBC Radio 1 DJ a couple of months ago after the latter was inadvertantly spoiled on a major plot point before it happened.

He included a picture of himself in costume. A little while ago he also posted a picture of himself hanging out with producers Benioff and Weiss in Belfast.

Tonight the Television Critics Association held its 28th Awards presentation to honor the best of the best in the 2011-2012 TV season. And our favorite fantasy epic, Game of Thrones, came out victorious with the award for Program of the Year. This makes us as happy as finding a litter of direwolf pups.

The critics also honored Showtime's acclaimed freshman drama, Homeland, with two awards for Outstanding New Program as well as giving Claire Danes the award for Individual Achievement in Drama for her portrayal of bipolar CIA agent, Carrie Mathison. Plus, critical darlings Breaking Bad, Louie and Downton Abbey were among the top picks.

Val is a wildling. She is the sister of Dalla, the wife of Mance Rayder. She is a beautiful woman with blonde hair. She has pale grey eyes with high sharp cheekbones. She is slender with a full bosom. Val is resourceful, brave and capable.
