I had to panic buy bloody capri suns today because my youngest has decided, with perfect timing, that she will ONLY drink capri sun! As luck would have it Tesco had 40 for Ł6.50 in their "bulk buy" section

The weather is so beautiful these days. It's tempting to want to go outside.
I'll go tomorrow to do my food shopping.

Well this is just the beginning of course .. the next two months are gonna be grim for sure . Also our two local stores tell a different story they have both had cancelled deliveries and missing stock lines . Spa drivers are dropping like flies .

Look at the countries that have the most amount of cases and deaths, not one person died because they never had enough food.

Humans need bar codes on their heads so they can be tracked and allocated the right amount because they can’t be trusted.

Went to the Pet shop at lunchtime to get cat food, there was a lot of people around but people were being mindful of keeping their distances from each other

I went to get a big 15kg bag for Rosie and the vicious stockpilers had attacked the shelf, leaving just one large bag of her brand with a tear in it . But I got 20% discount on it so that was nice.

Oh no really? (but at least you got a bargain) The actual Pet Shop itself was very quiet, just one guy in there buying goldfish and plenty on the shelves. It was in a Shopping park though and there was a good few people around. I got some Easter eggs as well in Dealz (they had plenty of loo roll too ) and they were well stocked as well

Was supposed to go food shopping today. But I don't feel like going out. I'll go on Thursday. I don't need much anyway.

My quandary is regards the food situation

We have at least 3 weeks of food to see us through ( the milk and bread will only last a week though) ... anyways it means we can stay in our little safe-house bubble and not venture out shopping in that period ..

Now our daughter things differently .. she reckons we should be getting the weekly shop in as usual for the next couple of weeks but be extra careful when shopping and then bolt the doors when the the situation gets worse / dangerous in two weeks or so time - as the government predicts ??

Any thoughts guys ?

get a mask and surgical gloves. Tesco is making big changes to how you act in store - directions of travel in aisles, plastic shields for till staff etc

i have masks for us all now when we go to supermarket
