I thought like this too at first BUT I guess it protects Io from being called up anytime soon (loads of NXT talent have had dark matches before main shows in the past few weeks - Karrion, Scarlett, Bronson etc).

I want Io to stay in NXT for as long as possible, she’s just too damn good for Vince to ruin.

1. Due to Bayley's injury (above), Sonya has chosen Carmella as her replacement to face Bianca for the title.

2. As Carmella is out of the MITB match - Sonya replaced her with Liv Morgan.

3. Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox debuted as a team ("Shotzi and Nox") and defeated Tag Champions Natalya and Tamina (non-title).

4. A vignette aired advertising the TBC debut of NXT's Toni Storm.

These call ups/returns to NXT are so hectic.

Like they’ve sent Mandy back yet her and Dana were literally in tag a feud the night before and now Xia who has *JUST* challenged Raquel.

Actually hoping Dana goes back down with her tbh. Otherwise I can see her getting released which is a shame she’s a great worker.

Finn I expected but I bet he’s not happy. He clearly hates the way the main roster books him and I can see him wanting out soon unless something has radically changed.
