Some Rumble news

Melina was meant to last a lot longer in the match but lost her footing on the apron and she had a mn early exit which led to her and Sasha having a Split off to waste the time away

Kofi was meant to last longer and have a big moment with Big E but he mistimed his jump and was eliminated

Io Shirai, Jillian Hall, Aksana and Kaitlyn were amongst the women backstage who were being used as back up entrants

When you’ve got the likes of Io Shirai backstage as a RESERVE, then we’ve got problems. She could have debuted and established herself on the main roster last night in the match.

Instead we get Alicia and Molly and Kelly AGAIN. Shocking.

I just feel like basically both matches were just going through the motions and essentially wasting time to get through it to the end and the quick, predictable endings. The amount of time in both where it felt like NOTHING was happening and it was just people struggling on the ropes. The crowd sitting down looking bored throughout. Meh.

Highlights of the night: Rollins’ Shield gear/entrance, the Reings/Rollins match, Paul turning on Brock, Ivory (all 60 seconds of her) and Bad Bunny. Sarah Logan was a nice surprise too kinda.

Other than that… Nah.

The way the mixed tag ended up being one of the better highlights of the night for me Maryse really said she's willing to take bumps for one night only.

Rumour has it that Brock winning the Rumble was, as always, “last minute”.

The original plan apparently was for Matt Riddle to win.
