I quite like Ste and I thought this story was going to be interesting but Brendan isn't likable enough to pull it off, the actor's good but the character is charmless and it's difficult to believe that Ste would suddenly fall for him out of nowhere. He should be more of a conflicted character really but he's not very sympathetic so it's hard to care for it all. They jumped into it too quickly really without really delving into his character first.

The blast caused internal injuries, Amy just got away with smoke damage I think.

I don't think she's that bad, it's pretty much all the students bar Lee & Jem that have to go.

Yeah, it's sort of like they didn't really know what to do with that storyline. Was sort of going nowhere, so she found out in a really crappy way. They had their storyline with the fire, but they're still just fillers. Getting preggers at 12 should be a massive issue

E4 episode tonight was really moving, RIP Malachy. Poor Mercedes, Cheryl, Kris and Lynsey too and all the actors did that episode justice.

Really sad how Mercedes talks to Mal's ghost.

The writers really aren't making Leanne a very likeable person. I hope it's intentional, is she permanent?
That "Has she died?" with a laugh made me want to smack her.

I quite like Leeanne, we need characters that will make us react to them, and lets be honest, hollyoaks dont have that many.

Im sad that mal has died, I actually wanted him and mercades to be happy.

Apart from that the show is still all over the place.

Thing is, nobody is like Leanne in real life unless they have some sort of problem. So nobody can really relate to her.

Yeah she might not be realistic, but shes making us talk about her. I havent seen the e4 episode but Im sure she was trying to brake Lee and Amy up, which was a crap idea anyway.

You never though so many soap characters who are a bitch at the start turn out to be decent characters - look at stpeh and Jessica.

I think Leeanne will become an intresting chacter and I find her dry humour to be funny.

Watched tonight's ep, so sad!!!!! Poor Mal. The scenes with him and Mercedes were very emotoinal, great character like Steph was.
