The only season that I have never watched is Worlds Apart. I just lost interest in the first episode and heard negative things about the series. Is it worth a watch to get to know the two returnees from this season?

Yes but you can stop after Hali's boot episode in fact I highly suggest stopping there since the rest of the season is utter trash.

Had to skip 3 episodes that wouldn't work for this season (aside from the recap episode that I also skipped) but yeah this was a very uneventful/boring season regardless of not seeing those episodes I think.

One thing I don't like about Survivor is that the majority alliance every season is practically guaranteed to be like 4 out of 5 / 5 out of 6 of the finalists, etc. You rarely see any kind of big switch within the season after the merge.

Spoiler:

In Cook Islands I liked that Jonathan switched over because you just rarely see that but then anyway all that really did was make the other side coast to the final 4 and the original majority crumble. I'd prefer to see more power shifts in a season but it just doesn't really line up that way in this kind of game I guess. It's still fine just something I noticed gets repetitive in Survivor.

Although I still like plenty of people a lot more than her anyway. This cast is really, really promising right now. The only thing is I don't know too much about a lot of the people in the Moto tribe yet but I like practically everyone in the tribe Jessica was on.

I continued with Worlds Apart and it's pretty mediocre but not AS crap as I thought it was going to be. In fact, I thought it had a pretty strong male cast (But weak female cast, probably why a lot of forum members hate it). On the Finale episode and will probably post my ranking tomorrow.

Rodney was very amusing. Tyler was pretty damn likable (surprisingly for his kind of archetype on these shows).

I do think the male cast was weak overall that season (a bunch I didn't like) and there weren't too many hugely likable characters as a whole both male & female. In fact even my favorites of that season get blown away by my faves from most/even all other seasons.
