I know for sure I'll be underwhelmed by the manifesto from Labour this time.
When it is revealed this week. However, somehow I expected more than what came from the Cons today. It was also underwhelming. |

Cons getting worried of a possible PR electoral change being considered.
For the elections post 2028/29. So from 2033/34. I really do believe immaterial of this election's result. PR is on the way in the next 10 years. It will ONLY be Labour who will embrace it too. Since it's been passed overwhelmingly TWICE at Labour conferences in the last 3 years. PR could ensure centre, centre left Parties being the majority governing coalition for decades. If it's planned and brought in the right way. |

Apparently Grant Shapps said this morning that people should vote tory to avoid labour getting a super majority in parliament.
If that's not admitting defeat, i don't know what is |

if the tories get wiped out there will be a fundamental political re-alignment. I guess it can be looked at a number of ways, but my belief is that Boris turned the tory party into ukip and that's why they are suffering now. My hope is that traditional tories will re-appear and take back the party because all the country has done is move further and further to the right

Ugh the Greens.
I cannot work them out at all. One MP at present yet they've 2 co-leaders. Now their DEPUTY leader is on the news. ????? They seem a very top heavy Party. |

i've never seen anything like it before. The level of incompetence being shown by the tories is just unthinkable. They have no messaging that passes even basic scrutiny. I've heard that tory mp's are basically going it alone now and trying with desperation to save their own seats.
It's just an absolute mess ![]() if labour have a huge majority, then labour will become their own opposition. That's just how it works, and labour are exactly the party to be their own opposition Last edited by bots; 13-06-2024 at 06:50 AM. |
