There's bloodthirsty people in our population, but they're clearly not the brightest. There's been calls for civil war by "culture war" fanatics since I've been born probably.. It's obvious where it's all heading and yet no-one does anything positive to increase civility on the major platforms

That’s an impossible goal at this point because too many leaders, be it in tech or politics and in the media earn far too much money and power by stoking the division and hatred, it’s become a viable income to create hostility and anger within the population, until that’s put a stop to, it’s only going to get worse

…I think that it’s a ‘game’ of many parts and layers…yes, it’s poked and prodded and slanted to keep that divide flame burning as distractingly as possible…but it’s also online personas and what it’s become and becoming…its a bit like The Running Man/type thing and similar of ‘talk violence’ becoming more and more real and enacted …which just to me says that as a humankind…?..we’re all becoming more and more desensitised to the value of human life…because of online content in general, ‘shock’ is just lessening…
