If it's Kate looking OK and happy then I'll be happy for her, if it's anything else then what's changed. It's either bad news or more PR guff. Everyone at the very least has to at this point appreciate that not one word they say can be taken as anything but potential fiction. Royal Fam That Cried Wolf, and all that. I'll believe my own eyes but I don't believe anything they "say in a statement" and anyone who does at this point is exceptionally naive .

Imagine making jokes about the health of someone you're supposedly in full dogmatic support of. Shameful.

What people seem to fail to realise (being inherently tribalistic and polarised) is that I don't like or dislike William and Kate any more than Harry and Meghan... I've never been on any "side" other than fairness. I feel just as bad for Kate with the absolute sh**show she's being put through as part of this royal circus as I do for Meghan. And yes, Diana did get the same treatment. The only props I can give to Harry over William is that - as silly as things like "Spare" have been - no one can argue that he hasn't done his best to get his family away from it and do things on their own terms. But he always had more wiggle room to do that, not being the direct heir.

"People" (the GBP) will not readily accept Kate being flawed. Or human in any way. That's what we're seeing at play here.

How is that working out for him? He hasn’t succeeded in ‘getting away from it’, has he?’ He and Meghan cling on to their Royal status as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, when America does not even recognise titles. If they really wanted ‘away from it’ they would style themselves as simply Harry and Meghan and they wouldn’t have lumbered their children with the titles of Prince and Princess.

If they really wanted away from it they would have lived private lives instead of churning out controversial interviews, books and podcasts, shouting out gimme gimme more attention than those old Royals! Waaagh!
Now, everything they do is scrutinised, they have become trashy tabloid fodder, because that is what they opened themselves up to. They are laughing stocks and with the exception of Prince Andrew, the most disliked ‘Royals’. They have it much worse now than they ever had it as part of the ‘Firm’.
If that is what you call ‘getting away from it’?

Say what you want, every time we see Harry and Meghan they look happy and healthy, while William looks angry and stressed and Kate is nowhere to be found and is, by all accounts, extremely unwell. The facts speak for themselves.

Say what you want, for years now, Harry often looks angry and lost, and Meghan dons an actressy grin all the time. That’s not natural.
Kate is to be found at Adelaide cottage, recovering from a serious operation and William is naturally not going to be gung - ho, is he?

It's not something I would expect you to be able to get your head around Jet. In terms of polarisation on the topic of the Royals, all you're missing is the red hat and reindeer. Utterly, utterly under to bootheel of terminal bias.

What you cant accept is the majority of current members don’t agree with you and your opinions on the royals or Harry and Meghan in fact there is not many that agree with most of what you post on here.

The person that agrees with you most is Niamh because she is anti royal like you

It’s no good you posting that you give fcuk about Kate because you don’t, it’s just an opportunity to dig at members who don’t agree with you

the notification that there will be an announcement, is in itself bollocks. It's just more of the same, and i find even the hint that there will be an announcement to be an utter nonsense.

On what planet do the BBC need prior notification that there will be an announcement, days in advance of the event

The rumour has actually been floating around TikTok/Twitter etc. since at least Saturday.

it's all a throw back to the days when the bbc were the only broadcaster, it hasn't been applicable in 70 years

Indeed or at the very least 20 or so years with the end of "old-school" terrestrial telly... and the last 5 or so totally irrelevant as most people no longer use television as their main news source full stop.

And now they're saying she's been seen out and about for a while taking her kids to school. Other parents have seen her. Where was this information before? So what was this circus about, actually?
