Danyl should do well with Purple Rain, won't be anywhere near as good as Ruth last year though, she was AMAZING at singing that song.

JEdward will be errrm entertaining I guess, if you can call it that as this point.

Don't think any of the other song choices are that great tbh, Lloyd's is terrible, Joe's is cliched, Lucie - meh, Jamie singing Unchained Melody?? Stacey's voice won't cope with her song I don't think, Olly will probably pull off Twist and Shout but why are they picking such OLD songs for them all? Simon always bangs on about making them current.

Part of the appeal of Ruth's version is that everyone still saw her as this years token bimbo singer in the 25+ category with a crap voice and would come out and do massive songs, NOONE expected that performance. We all know Danyl can do the shouty bits so it instantly loses its impact.

that song is what Essex boys bawl out when they get kicked out of nightclubs in Basildon. It is tired, sung to death and possibly one of the worst songs that anyone could give to Olly

Im so excited for Stacey & Joe's performances - love the songs and think they could be good choices!

Ah Danyl doing Purple Rain, bit predictable but if he pulls it off as well as Ruth did, and remains uncocky, think I might be able to let myself like him

Some interesting choices. I find Jamie's choice a little weird, it either going to be brilliant or just awful.
Joe and Lucie will struggle I think and could be contenders for the bottom 2, especially Lucie
John and Edward will be the highlight of the evening
