It really pisses me off that most X Factor winners / competitors have NO idea about music, except how to sing, and as such just CANNOT be called "musicians". They always seem to have an insular interest in music, only knowing about all the commercial ****, as evidenced by Joe because he hadn't heard of Rage against the Machine. I mean, who hasn't? I have a wide variety of genres I enjoy and produce, but insular, narrow minded people who call themselves musicians and haven't written a musical piece in their lives annoy me so much.
