That's questionable, to say the least. A lot of the people, specifically younger people, who are growing more apathetic towards religious institutions are slightly harder to poll. A lot of them would still even consider themselves Christians by default. Most of my mates are Christians on paper, but it has nothing to do with their life.

A lot of Atheists, particularly in America, just don't want to come out of the closet. Hitchens calls Atheists the fastest growing group in America.

I'd stop thinking about Islam when the UK stops bending over backwards for it. I thought the media would be bored of it by now but they keep shoving it in our faces. Why can't muslims be more like the Jews, Hindu's, Sikhs ect over here, they just get on with it.
