Since when did I listen to Same Difference?

What I'm trying to say in short, and in a way that is much more me and much more interesting:

ARTISTS DO NOT GO TO SIMON COWELL, LORD OF THE UNDERWORLD AND LIMITLESS MONEY THAT TODAY CONSTITUTES AS A SUITABLE (AMONGST THE ***** AND CLUELESS PEASANTS) REPLACEMENT FOR ART, ASK HIM AND HIS MOTLEY CRUE OF AGENTS, WRITERS, FRIENDS AND PEERS FOR A RECORD DEAL ON THE GROUNDS THAT 'THEYVE HAD A DIFFICULT LIFE' (in which case, close your legs you trollop) WHICH CONSISTS OF A FEW TAME BALLADS AND SONG COVERS. ARTISTS WORK ON THEIR ART, WRITE THEIR MATERIAL, RECRUIT BANDS IF THEY CANNOT PLAY THEMSELVES, AND DO SOMETHING CREATIVE.

Why not? Its personal taste, just because Im not mad over a really high profiled artist does not mean I cant have an opinion.

Plenty of people can sing. It doesn't automatically make you an artist in my eyes. My mum can sing. Why isin't she on stage?

Because she didn't go the television route. Because she and her 'story' and 'wonderful personality' were not beamed into the brains of millions of fucking vegetables every weekend for a few months.

It's showbiz. It's become like this self sustaining industry that's seperate from the rest of music. Soon Stacey will fade away and someone else will take her place and the story will continue for these same vegetables to devour.

And yeah Stu I understand what you mean, I guess at times I am a bit brainwashed with what gets thrown at us, but yeah I do like Stacey as an individual and to me she has a good strong voice.
